My 2014 F-150 original backup camera died at 9 years old. I purchased this camera to replace it. It was easy to install. I did have to purchase the logo faceplate as the clips broke off. That camera just died and it’s just over a year old. Warranty ran out of course.
Don’t get me wrong. I DO like this camera 100% better than the cameras on Amazon. This one is exactly like the OEM original camera, i.e. same clear, wide peripheral view, same backup lines that do not bend when I turn the steering wheel. I really was happy with it. Just disappointed it only lasted about a year and a few months. I just installed this one in minutes. It works beautifully. I just don’t trust how long this one will last. Not holding my breath.

So far so good excellent fit easy to install no need to replace emblem popped off and on easily, very clear picture on dashboard

2011 F150 replacement backup camera

Original camera had been working intermittently for a few years. It was a 50/50 chance that it would activate when needed.
I replaced it with this camera and now works like new. Easy install (10minutes) no reprogramming needed.Zoom function and guide lines work just like OEM camera.
The tabs on FORD logo cover will break when you pry it off. Updated reusable ones are available but I am cheap and just used a bit of silicone and glued it on. Works fine and looks good.

F1,50 camera

Part arrived as advertised. Installation was simple. For the money this works great. During the day everything is about the same as the OEM camera. Low light areas at night work ok. Could be better. Parking lots with lights are fine. That being said, I have no problem with the camera. On a side note, if you are replacing the camera like on a 2011 f150 make sure you change the ford camera holder to the later style. When you pop off the cover it breaks. Later style can be reused.

So much better ...

Than the cheap Chinese cameras on Amazon! Quality is just like OEM. Amazon cams were dark and small field of view. A very slight miss alignment of the backup lines, but probably do to install slightly off not the camera. Great product, wish I knew before my first attempt. Ford F150 2014 Platinum
