If you only read this first line, DO NOT buy from Master Tailgaters. If you’re still reading, here is why. You’ll see lots of reviews saying these cameras are dark. It’s true - they are so dark they are useless. In broad daylight, backing up to my trailer, I can’t even see the hitch. Let alone backing into a spot with any sort of shade or trying to parallel park with a darker colored car behind you When I asked for a replacement they sent one, and that is about the best thing I can say for the customer service. The new one they sent had the same issue. They told me it was an issue with the coding of my truck (even though this are sold as OEM replacement cameras??). When I said I wanted a refund and didn’t want to pay for return shipping (it’s their junk they want me to ship back, seems unfair I should have to pay), their customer service rep accused me of trying to scam them.. seriously? And to top it all off, over a month after I bought the camera, I get $75 worth of bills from FEDEX for shipping me the cameras (even after their customer service rep told me they sent me the replacement on their dime). I’m very sure this company just forwarded the bill to me when I complained. I have never had this sort of bill before, and the invoice date is 2 weeks after my last conversation with the customer service rep and almost 2 months after I ordered. Just brutal. So again, do not buy from these guys.
